We've created a new Haus that embodies all our values

Golden Goose has a new home. In April 2024, HAUS Marghera was inaugurated on the outskirts of Venice, right where Golden Goose's journey began. A return to our roots, but with an eye toward the future: what better place to tell our story of evolution and give tangible form to the values that guide us?

The building has been designed as a meeting space where dreams, creativity, and craftsmanship come together. A true platform for expression, designed to inspire, innovate, and celebrate the beauty of imperfections that make us unique.

The Outdoor Spaces

The desire to tell the story of the brand’s roots and celebrate them is evident right from the square with the fountain located outside the Haus.

The square is designed as a meeting place where people can gather, share their dreams, and exchange experiences and adventures. At the center of this space there is water, a symbolic and recurring element in various Golden Goose locations, which here takes on an even deeper meaning.

Water is a tribute to Venice, the city where the journey began. The Italian sculptor Fabio Viale, renowned for his marble works, has created Venetian briccole in marble. These structures, traditionally made of wooden poles used to signal low tide in the lagoon and guide boats, have been masterfully reinterpreted: although carved in marble, they appear to be made of wood, creating a striking blend of tradition and innovation.

Craftsmanship in the Manovia

In the Manovia, the entire production process can be observed: from the machinery used to the artisans at work. This is where the designs of the models are created, and prototypes for new footwear are brought to life with a focus on the future.

In this part of the building, there is also an installation of about 4,500 pairs of sneakers hanging from the ceiling. It is a tribute to Los Angeles skate culture but, above all, to the brand’s origins: the first Golden Goose shoes were hung outside to naturally yellow, creating the iconic lived-in effect.

Journeys inspire and project us into the future: The Academy

At the entrance of HAUS, various works evoke Japan, a country that has always inspired Golden Goose’s journey and creativity. From this space, one enters the Academy, a place dedicated to educating and inspiring our future dream makers and artisans. The goal is to bring inspiration and innovation to the new generations.

Playground: Our Cultural Hub

Another central space within HAUS Marghera is the Playground, an extraordinary and highly versatile environment designed to adapt to any type of event. Its special features include retractable seating that can be opened when needed, transforming the space with a surprising effect.

The Playground is designed to host screenings, cultural events, and presentations of collaborations between Golden Goose and international artists.

The name itself, Playground, pays homage to the basketball court, one of the brand’s most iconic and historical sources of inspiration. Making this place even more unique are the personalized chairs, featuring designs of Golden Goose's historic sneakers, creating a perfect balance of aesthetics and storytelling.

Sustainability is also reflected in the bar

Everything at Golden Goose, including the bar, reflects our values: within the refreshment area, there is a hydroponic greenhouse with coffee plants that symbolizes our commitment to sustainability.

Get ready for a unique experience in the immersive tunnel

Beyond the bar lies the heart of the entire structure. To reach it, however, one must pass through the immersive tunnel, where visitors can experience something truly unique and unforgettable.

The Hangar and the Archive are the heart of the Haus

The Hangar and the Archive: these are the places where everything began. It was in the Hangar that Golden Goose's two founders, Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo, created their company in 2000. The spaces, once an old foundry, have remained unchanged since then: a welcoming work environment was created here, reminiscent of the comfort of one’s home.

But the beating heart of HAUS is the Archive: this is where the very first Golden Goose offices were established. The Archive contains all the products and collections created since the beginning of our story.

When it comes to sneakers, the brand's iconic product, all models and shapes are present, starting from the very first ones produced in 2007 to the latest collection.

The sneakers are displayed in thematic sections, each designed to tell the story and inspirations of the brand.
