Inspired by the world of basketball, the Stardan sneakers are among the most iconic shapes of Golden Goose, reminiscent of the typical 90s aesthetic.

To celebrate the imperfect yet unique history of every Golden Lover and to highlight how sneakers can be precious keepers of all the memories collected in our life journey, the Stardan are created not only with the classic lived-in treatment, a trademark of all our sneakers, but also with a super strong lived-in treatment: the "worn-out" effect is pushed to the maximum, with the tomaia part "destroyed," as if naturally worn out, to highlight the iconic Golden Goose star without its tip.

Every Stardan reflects the personality and unique story of its wearer

The Stardan sneakers have a unique history: they were among the sneakers directly designed by the founders of Golden Goose, who wanted to create an extremely versatile shoe that aimed for maximum personalization.

For example, the first models created by the founders all had a stamp and an insole with their initials. Moreover, during their trips to and from the United States to create new shapes, they would write the names of the people they met on the shoes.

From this, the idea of characterizing the Stardan with writing on the sole containing hidden messages was born. In addition, compared to other Golden Goose sneakers, this shape stands out for having both a different label and a different lacing system.

Another aspect that makes the Stardan unique is the combination of colors: many of the models are bicolored with combinations of vibrant, pop, and sometimes fluorescent tones.
